I've been participating in all kinds of sports since I can remember. But I've always been drawn to the movements that allow you to put your head down and grind. In college, I tackled D1 rowing. I loved the opportunity but suffered a career-ending back injury after my first year. Flash forward a few years, I was post-op from back surgery and searching for a type of movement that would help me recover stronger. That's when I found CrossFit. It challenged me, it let me modify, and it scratched my competitive itch. I continued CrossFit as I attended Physical Therapy school and ultimately graduated with pelvic health certifications- with a special interest in the management of athletes. I have experience working with women through all parts of their lifespan - including young athletes, pregnancy, postpartum, peri, and post-menopause. Injuries can be scary- but the human body is incredible. One of my favorite things is keeping people, safely doing what they love. My absolute favorite thing is when that love is CrossFit.
