In this class we believe everyone is an athlete. Our priority is to foster an excitement about fitness. Our goal is to make a fitness environment that is accessible and welcoming for everyone, regardless of identity, background, or athletic experience. Teens will learn proper form in weightlifting, practice gymnastics skills, and improve their cardiovascular capacity. The coach creates a welcoming environment in which teens encourage each other and celebrate their own and their peers’ achievements. For Middle and High Schoolers.
Every class is different! Some days teens will focus on learning and practicing complex Olympic weightlifting movements followed by a short workout. Other days teens might partner up to chip away at a long workout as a teen. The major constant between all the types of classes is that anyone can participate and be challenged. This program serves everyone from the teen who has never participated in sports to elite youth athletes. All workouts are infinitely scalable to each athlete’s needs. CrossFit Teens will provide the groundwork for a lifetime passion for fitness.
